You Said It. I Believe It. You Said It… It Is Done.
There is a moment in every believer’s life when faith becomes more than words, when you decide to take God at His Word. Not because you see the outcome yet, but because He said it.
Everything starts with hope.
If the next ten years are going to be better than the last ten, it won’t be because circumstances magically improve. It will be because you place your hope in the only One who can truly change things—Jesus Christ.
He heals hurts.
He transforms lives.
He is the miracle worker, the chain breaker, the One who speaks... and it is done!
Where You Place Your Hope Determines Your Future
There is only one source of hope that cannot be shaken, stolen, or taken away: God Himself. People today are discouraged because they’ve anchored their hope to things that were never meant to hold the weight of their soul:
- A job
- A spouse
- A new home, car, or lifestyle
- An economy
- Their own abilities or achievements
These things are temporary. They shift. They fail. They disappear.
But God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He does not change. He does not weaken. He does not forget you. He is always there when you call on Him.
Hope Requires Courage—Because Negativity Will Come
When you decide to trust God, expect resistance.
Not everyone will celebrate your faith. Some will misunderstand it. Others will criticize it. Many will project their own disappointments onto you.
Their discouragement is not your destiny.
You cannot please God and please everyone else at the same time. At some point, you must become okay with losing the approval of people in order to walk in the approval of God.
Ask yourself honestly:
Whose disapproval do I fear?
If the answer is anyone other than God… that fear has become an idol.
Either you fear people, or you trust God. You cannot do both.
Faith must be lived-out loud - not for applause, but for obedience.
As Pastor Rick Warren says: "Secret faith... is shallow faith."
Faith That Stands Firm
A hopeful life is not a naïve life. It is a life rooted in the unchanging character of God.
Scripture calls us to:
- Rejoice always.
- Pray continually.
- Give thanks in all circumstances.
Not because everything is perfect, but because God is present.
Hope is not wishful thinking.
Hope is confidence in the God who has never failed His people.
If He said it—believe it.
If He promised it—trust it.
If He declared it—it is done.
