Article: You Don’t Need the Perfect Moment to Share Jesus

You Don’t Need the Perfect Moment to Share Jesus

You Don’t Need the Perfect Moment to Share Jesus

Recently I reconnected with an old school friend I hadn’t spoken to since high school. (Thank you, social media.)

Right after we reconnected, he shared he was heading to Central America for another mission trip — building homes for families in need. What a beautiful way to share Christ’s love. I had no idea he was even a Christian.

Funny what you don’t know… when you don’t talk about it.

Are You Waiting for the “Perfect Moment”?

A lot of us hesitate to share our faith.

Maybe you’re waiting for the right timing.

Maybe you’re afraid of rejection.

Maybe you’re embarrassed or unsure what to say.

Here’s the truth: the perfect moment isn’t coming.

And God isn’t asking you to be perfect either.

He’s asking you to be obedient.

He’s asking you to plant the seed.

Plant the Seed Through Simple, Everyday Moments

Sharing Jesus doesn’t always look like preaching or quoting Scripture. Sometimes it looks like:

  • A kind word
  • A smile
  • A laugh
  • A moment of unexpected joy
  • A calm spirit on a stressful day

People notice those things.

They notice peace.

They notice joy.

They notice light.

And sometimes they’ll ask about it.

Maybe they’ll ask why you’re smiling on a cloudy day.

Maybe they’ll ask how you stay so calm.

Maybe they’ll ask about the hoodie you’re wearing — and what it means.

That’s your moment.

Share Your Quick Testimony

You don’t need a sermon.

You don’t need a perfect script.

Just tell them why you have hope.

Tell them why you have peace.

Tell them what Jesus has done in your life.

That’s the seed.

And the Holy Spirit will take it from there.

You don’t have to convert anyone.

Just plant the seed.

Walk With Him Today

May God bless you richly, and may you walk hand‑in‑hand with Him today and always.
